1. Who We Are
ElectraSim ("we", "us", "our") is a free browser-based electrical circuit simulator available at electrasim.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
2. Data We Collect
ElectraSim does not collect personal information through the simulator. Specifically:
- No account registration is required or offered.
- Circuit designs are saved to your browser's IndexedDB / localStorage.
- No cookies are set by ElectraSim for tracking or advertising purposes.
If you choose to create and send a share link, its compressed circuit data is stored after the URL's # fragment. Browsers do not send that fragment to ElectraSim or Cloudflare; the person receiving the link can decode the circuit in their browser.
If you choose to contact us through the Google Form linked from the contact page, any information you submit is handled by Google Forms and shared with us so we can respond to your message.
3. Analytics
ElectraSim does not run third-party analytics scripts.
4. Local Storage
The ElectraSim app stores your circuit data, settings, and preferences in your browser's IndexedDB and localStorage. This data:
- Remains on your device unless you explicitly create and send a share link or export a file.
- Is not uploaded to ElectraSim servers.
- Can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
5. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are used:
- Cloudflare Pages — hosts this website and may retain infrastructure access logs under its own policies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Forms — used only when you open and submit the feedback form linked from the contact page.
6. Children's Privacy
ElectraSim does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the simulator.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of ElectraSim after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please contact us or visit our Facebook page.
